Dr Rosemary Laing (1979) has kindly invited other Linacre Old Members to an informal Garden Party at her home on the Queanbeyan River near Canberra on Saturday 11 November 2017 from 4 until 6.30 pm.
Linacrites either living in or visiting the Canberra area are invited to sit and relax, and reminisce about Linacre days, accompanied by afternoon tea, drinks and nibbles, and the river corridor wildlife. Family members/significant others etc are also very welcome.

20th October 2017 marks the 493rd anniversary of the death of Thomas Linacre, after whom the College is named.
He was a true Renaissance man, being a classicist, medical doctor, and priest; Linacre members today continue this tradition of representing a variety of academic areas.

In conjunction with this University-wide event, Linacre College invites all Linacre Members to a 'Meet the Principal' event on Saturday, September 16, at 11.00 am over coffee/tea and pastries in College. Dr Nick Brown, Principal of Linacre College, will talk about his experience of being an Oxford Head of House.

The next Linacre Summer Gaudy--July 1 & 2, 2017—is for Old Members who matriculated from 1972 through 1981. Highlights of the weekend will include a black tie Gala dinner on Saturday night, July 1st, and a garden party on Sunday, July 2nd.
