Dr Rosemary Laing (1979) has kindly invited other Linacre Old Members to an informal Garden Party at her home on the Queanbeyan River near Canberra on Saturday 11 November 2017 from 4 until 6.30 pm.
Linacrites either living in or visiting the Canberra area are invited to sit and relax, and reminisce about Linacre days, accompanied by afternoon tea, drinks and nibbles, and the river corridor wildlife. Family members/significant others etc are also very welcome.
Please e-mail Rosemary for further information, and to RSVP by 30 October, letting her know:
Rosemary is also willing to help match up passengers and drivers if you let her know:
(a) whether you would need transport from Canberra to Queanbeyan;
(b) if you would be in a position to provide a lift to someone needing transport.
As far as we know, this is the first Linacre gathering in the Canberra region since a visit by Principal Sir Bryan Cartledge in 1995, so we hope there will be an enthusiastic turn-out for Rosemary’s invitation.
