The Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is a UK Government scheme which provides extra financial help for ‘home’ students who have a disability, an ongoing health condition, a mental health condition or a specific learning difficulty like dyslexia. The procedure for applying for a DSA is time-consuming, so students who are considering applying should contact the University’s Disability Advisory Service as early as possible. They can also contact Linacre’s Dean of Equality and Diversity, Dr Heath Rose.
Overseas students with disabilities should also contact the University's Disability Advisory Service (DAS) as early as possible. If support is recommended after a DAS assessment, this will be funded by the University and the College.
