This Scholarship will be available in 2017/18, to support a student ordinarily resident in sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa), and who is studying for a one year MSc course in the School of Geography and the Environment.

The scholarship is jointly funded by the University and Dr Keith Lloyd, an alumnus of Linacre College. All applicants to the University who are eligible for this award will be considered.


No separate application will be necessary. The scholarship covers course fees, College fees and a grant for living costs of at least £14,296. The scholarship is only tenable at Linacre College.


All eligible applicants will be considered for this scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) you state as your preference on the graduate application form. However, successful applicants will be transferred to Linacre College in order to take up the scholarship.
