Face mask / face covering requirements from 7 September 2020
From Monday, 7th September 2020, face coverings must be worn (except by those who are exempt) when entering University and College buildings.
This includes in-person teaching settings, communal and circulation spaces, offices, meeting rooms and spaces, research laboratories and workshops, libraries and museums and university vehicles.
Further details and the full policy can be found here: https://www.ox.ac.uk/coronavirus/health/face-coverings.
Specifically, within Linacre, this means you should wear a face covering in the following areas: Reception, Dining Hall (except when eating and drinking), Common Rooms, Library (except when seated and working), shared public bathrooms, and all public circulation spaces. Please wear a face covering when visiting staff in their offices, such as the Bursary, the Academic and IT Offices. Please wear a face covering in Linacre student accommodation outside of those areas marked as your own household bubble.
If you are resident in Linacre student accommodation you do not need to wear a face covering in those areas marked as your own household bubble unless you are self-isolating. If you are self-isolating you must wear a mask at all times when not in your own room.
Linacre staff do not need to wear a face covering when seated and working in their own offices.
You do not need to wear a face covering in outdoor areas of the College.
