The next Linacre Summer Gaudy--2nd & 3rd July 2016—is for Old Members who matriculated from 1982 – 1991. Invitations will go out to all Old Members in the cohort for whom we have an e-mail address. You are also welcome to telephone or e-mail Marsaleete Anderson directly with questions or for further information, or to provide your e-mail address.
Weekend Programme: Details of the weekend programme may be found in the document below. Highlights include the black tie Gala dinner on Saturday night (spouse/partner or adult guest welcome), and a garden party on Sunday (children welcome).
Cost: Tickets are £50/person – the same price as your last Gaudy, five years ago, and it is subsidised by the College. There is no charge for children who attend the Garden Party. The easiest, most secure way to book is via the University Online Store at this link.
Accommodation: The University Club, a 5-minute walk from Linacre, has reserved a block of double/twin rooms for us, but they should be booked BEFORE MONDAY 4th APRIL; all unbooked rooms will be released after that date. (If you book a room, and then decide not to come to the Gaudy, you can cancel your reservation for a full refund as long as you give more than seven days’ written notice before your arrival date.) The rooms are all en-suite, include breakfast, and are the closest accommodation to Linacre. The per room cost is £103 per night (£93 if single occupancy). Update: Although we have had to release the remaining rooms at the University Club, you may still contact them to check availability.
All bookings should be made directly with the Club, mentioning that you are attending the Linacre Gaudy. The contact details for the University Club are:
A limited number of SINGLE ENSUITE ROOMS are currently available for one or two nights (Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2) at St Anne’s College for £60/night, including breakfast and VAT.
