Four top chefs from Kobe, Japan, including Michelin starred Chef Shigematsu, will demonstrate their culinary creativity, and Japanese cookery techniques. Recently recognized by UNESCO as a “World Intangible Cultural Heritage” Japanese cuisine (washoku) is rich in tradition and variety. Our chefs will introduce guests to that heritage while sharing stories about traditional Japanese food and what it means to them. Further information about the event and the visiting Japanese chefs can be found here.
Fellows, staff and students are welcome to this event but places are strictly limited. There will be a charge to cover the cost of ingredients payable via battels (£15 for Fellows and staff, £10 for students). Please book your place by emailing Jo Whitfield.
