Fellow Professor Myles Allen, alumna Dr Ellen Quigley, and Linacre Principal Dr Nick Brown will be sharing their thoughts on the University's new Environmental Strategy and the long-term impact it and other strategies will have on the higher education sector.

Myles Allen is Professor of Geosystem Science in the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford and Head of the Climate Dynamics Group in the University's Department of Physics. His research focuses on how human and natural influences on climate contribute to observed climate change and risks of extreme weather and in quantifying their implications for long-range climate forecasts.
Ellen Quigley is the Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer (Responsible Investment) at the University of Cambridge and a Research Associate in Climate Risk and Sustainable Finance at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk. Her work addresses the ways in which the investment policies and practices of institutional investors affect climate change. She is the lead author of the report Divestment: Advantages and Disadvantages for the University of Cambridge.
