AfOx-Linacre Humanities Scholarship
For students studying for a Masters in any humanities subject from any African country.
This page describes all Scholarships specific to Linacre College.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, students must be suitably qualified and be, or intending to become, a member of Linacre College. Please refer to the individual scholarship pages for specific eligibility criteria.
Most Scholarships do not require direct application to College and you will be automatically considered if you are eligible. If you have any queries about the Scholarships at Linacre then please email: scholarships@linacre.ox.ac.uk.

For students studying for a Masters in any humanities subject from any African country.
For Masters students from any African country studying a course in the School of Geography and the Environment
For students in MSc Environmental Change and Management from any African country.
Two awards will be made for students studying for an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration and two awards will be made to students who are studying at the University as refugees.
For MSc students from any African country, reading Biodiversity, Conservation and Management, Environmental Change and Management, or Water Science, Policy and Management.
For Engineering students.
For students who are reside ordinarily in Canada, studying any course.
For a student in Theoretical Chemistry or Computational Chemical Physics.
For MBA students from Africa.
For students of biological, medical & chemical sciences.
For students in a subject which addresses environmental concerns.
For DPhil Anthropology students.
The Nosce Scholarship was set up in 2022 by a generous alumnus of the College and is awarded to an MSc student in the Social Sciences division.
For a student in the Medical Sciences Division.
For gifted students from Africa to study any subject.
For DPhil students in Anthropology.
For DPhil students in English.
For female students studying a post-graduate degree in a science subject.
