The Oxford - Christopher and Sharyn Brooks Scholarship was created in memory of Professor Christopher W Brooks. It is open to any candidate wishing to study History of Law and Society who is, or will become, a member of Linacre College.
This graduate scholarship will cover full fees and is initially tenable for one year, with renewal for further years (depending on the period of fee liability), subject to satisfactory academic progress.
There is no separate application process for this scholarship. The Faculty of Law will automatically consider all eligible offer holders for this funding, irrespective of what college they applied to. Scholarship holders will be selected for their outstanding academic merit and potential. At the time of taking up the scholarship the Scholarship Holder must have been admitted as a postgraduate student by Oxford University.
