Welcome to Freshers 2024

You should have received an email outlining the steps to completing registration. Make sure you have read this email carefully and have booked an appointment to complete your registration with the Academic Office.

Medical Registration

All students are entitled to free NHS medical care during their studies, although there may be a NHS surcharge for international students. Click here to register and select ‘Linacre College’.

There will be a matriculation ceremony in the Sheldonian Theatre on Saturday 19th October 2024. Attending this ceremony is a requirement for all new graduate students who have not already matriculated at the University Oxford. There are exceptions for those studying remotely and for those on specific courses with permission to matriculate in absence as detailed here.

This ceremony takes precedence over all other engagements. Matriculating students are required to arrive at Linacre College at 8.30 am on Saturday 19th October 2024, wearing full academic dress which will be checked upon arrival.

Unlike other Oxford colleges, Linacre does not segregate fellows, staff and students. All members of Linacre are automatically members of the Common Room (CR) and share the same social space.
