We are delighted to announce that this year’s speaker for the prestigious Tanner Lecture on Human Values is Professor Jean-Marie Guéhenno. Director of the Kent Global Leadership Program on Conflict Resolution and a Professor of Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, he was previously appointed as Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping by Kofi Annan. It was in this role that he led the biggest expansion of peacekeeping in the history of the United Nations.

His lecture will explore how societal changes, globalisation, technology and power dynamics shape the landscape of conflict and peace.
