The Thomas Linacre Studentships recognise outstanding individual contributions to the life of the College. Two studentships may be awarded annually. They are tenable for one year and carry a stipend of £500. These studentships have been made possible through a generous donation from Dr Peter Stern.

The Thomas Linacre Studentships will be awarded only when, in the view of the Governing Body, a student has made an individual contribution to College life sufficiently outstanding to merit this recognition: the Studentships will not necessarily be awarded every year.

Students may not apply directly for a Thomas Linacre Studentship; but nominations may be made, in confidence, to the Senior Tutor (senior.tutor@linacre.ox.ac.uk). Any member of the college may make a nomination. Please submit your nominations with a brief (2-3 sentence) description of why you feel your nominee deserves this award.

The deadline has been extended to noon on the Friday of 7th Week in Trinity Term.
