The award, presented by ShruthiUK during the Birmingham Thyagaraja Festival at the Indian Embassy in Birmingham, recognises outstanding contributions to music, education, the arts, and cultural engagement.
The ceremony was held last month and and the award was presented by Chithra Ramakrishnan, Artistic Director of the Birmingham Thyagaraja Festival (pictured above).
