Congratulations are in order for two Linacre rowers this week.
On Sunday 26th March, Hannah Patel (DPhil, System Approaches in Biomdedical Science) rowed in the bow seat of the Oxford University Womens Lightweight Rowing Club Blue Boat at Henley. Unfortunately the Dark Blues lost to Cambridge by three lengths but a great day was had by all spectators.
This Sunday 2nd April, Vassilis Ragoussis (MSc by Research, Clinical Medicine) has been selected for the Men’s Blue Boat for the Varsity Boat Race. We wish all the Oxford crews rowing the best of luck, and hope that you can show your support for Vassilis and the Dark Blues on the day; for information on how best to watch the race, please visit the Boat Race website.
