First played in 1961, this year’s match was held on the magnificent lawns of the Hurlingham Club in London, thanks to the generosity of the University alumni. It was a particularly historic occasion as, for the first time in 25 years, the Oxford team included a female player.

Croquet is a strategic and social sport that blends the precision of darts with the tactics of chess, all played under the sun in picturesque surroundings! Linacre College members are especially well placed to enjoy it, with the Oxford University Association Croquet Club maintaining beautifully kept lawns in University Parks, just a three-minute stroll from college.
