We are very pleased to have welcomed over 160 new Linacrites to the College this year.
Our Freshers attended the traditional Matriculation Ceremony on Saturday, where they officially became members of the University of Oxford. After attending the ceremony in the Sheldonian Theatre, Michael and the kitchen team had put on a wonderful buffet lunch in the Dining Hall, providing fuel for the now infamous Sexy Sub Fusc bop that evening.
As in past years, our Common Room Social Secretaries put on a great freshers’ weeks to welcome our new students in to the Linacre community, with favourite fixtures including punting on the Cherwell, and ice cream at G&D’s café.
We look forward to the new academic year ahead with our growing community.
