Linacre College is delighted to announce the opening for an Events and Hospitality Manager. This full-time, permanent role involves leading our events planning and hospitality operations, ensuring both the College and external events are executed flawlessly. Reporting to the Domestic Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include promoting Linacre College as a venue, managing and assisting all aspects of the College’s conference activity, overseeing event logistics in collaboration with various internal teams, and developing and improving internal systems to ensure events are booked, administered and run smoothly. This position requires a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, as it involves supervising young adults. The successful candidate must complete this check to uphold our commitment to providing a secure setting for all members and guests of Linacre College.

About You:

Candidates should possess a commitment to excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, is essential.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £32,332 to £38,205 per year (pro-rata for part time appointments) depending on experience with an Oxford Weighting of £1500 per year to be applied with effect from 1 November 2024
