Graduation Days

Students on taught courses will be invited, via e-mail from the University, to register for a degree ceremony electronically in the Michaelmas Term of their final year of study.

Research students will be offered dates for their degree ceremony once they have been granted leave to supplicate.

The University Degree Ceremony Brochure can be found here.

The College will have access to the lists and will take over the organisation of the day. We will email our graduands three months before the ceremony date telling them what they will need to do for the ceremony and inviting them to come to College for refreshments. It is, therefore, important that when you register you give an alternative email address to your Oxford one.

Each graduand will be entitled to two guest tickets for the ceremony and the refreshments in College.

UPDATE for ceremonies in 2020-2021

The University have taken the difficult decision to postpone all degree days scheduled between March 2020 and August 2021.

There is ongoing uncertainty about when large scale gatherings will be allowed to resume. The University have reassured us that they are now actively reviewing arrangements for future ceremonies, and will put plans in place for additional events as soon as Government guidance allows it. We will provide further information about future ceremonies as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about Degree Ceremonies please contact Alison Franklin, Academic Registrar.
